My interest in the paranormal ranges from spirit investigation to ufos and all in between.
I went through the law enforcement program at Kalamazoo Valley Community college.Upon graduation, I joined the Navy and served until 1986. In 1986, I graduated from Pima Community College in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in Art / Cartooning in Tuscon, Arizona. In 1993, we moved to Atlanta Georgia where I began my career in law enforcement and private security. I worked the Olympics and was also trained at the Georgia State Police post in Marietta. I have been trained as an investigator and well versed in surveillance and evidence collection techniques. In the beginning of 2008, I began paranormal investigations

(SMP).

I am a private security enforcement officer MFR / EMT and father of four awesome children, I am married to my best friend!
I have had paranormal experiences all of my life. I have discovered my talent for intuitiveness and the drive and need to help in this field of paranormal investigation. I bring my experiences and training to the team as well as the management skills required to run such a group in a fair and honest manner. The 40 plus years of real experience in the paranormal has helped me understand that something more is out there, and we have an obligation and duty to ourselves and others, through scientific and metaphysical means to help document and tell the story of those no longer on this plain of existence.

The paranormal field has always been an area of interest for Dyana. This interest only intensified after she had a few personal experiences. She enjoys uncovering the history of different areas and figuring out how that might correlate with the activity that is occurring there. Dyana hopes to continue to learn about all things paranormal through research and investigations.

I get my interest in the paranormal/supernatural from my great grandmother. Like her, I am an intuitive and work with energy and energy fields on a daily basis. I am hoping that working with a recognized, organized group will help bring the scientific communinty more understanding of the spiritual, paranormal, and supernatural worlds.Additional information:
I am a mom and work with herbs, aromatherapy, reflexology, ear candling, therapeutic touch and teach and perform guided meditation. I also do oracle readings and enjoy doing crafts.
Amie Fournier-Flather

Prior to joining this team, I had several years on semi-formal investigative work. I have been interested in the supernatural for as long as I can remember which led me to this area of interest. My semi-formal investigative work has been in cemeteries, private homes and on state land. I have mostly worked on investigations on a spiritual level and I have branched out my talents a lot along the scientific lines working with SMP.Areas of expertise:
Knowledge of many different occult and other religious or spiritual affiliations. I have studied various religions - Judeo-Christian, occult areas and others - for 25+ years. I seem to have a knack for debunking things on film (digital, 35mm, video) and during an investigation (such as creaky noises, bumps, etc.) os I keep a skeptical m indset whiel investigating but I am also aware there is something else out there besides the humans and animals that inhabit our planet.

Andru "Randy" Hunter

Author, publisher of Historical Fiction about the plains of Knasas in the 1870's. Andru works with Amazon publishers and has written 7 books, the first one published the Southern Plainsman. Andru has been around the world three times and seventeen countries. A United States Navy Hospital Corpsman, who served with the Marines and Navy S.E.A.L.'s. He is a Vietnam Veteran. He lives at home with his wife and 3 cats. He loves doing paranormal investigations and writing about the experiences.

I am interested in the paranormal is because I personally have had encounters with it. I have always paid a lot of attention to anything paranormal whether it be books, tv, movies, etc. I always attend an investigation with a skeptic's mind and will try to eliminate the activity or event by seeking a common cause before I feel comfortable labeling it as paranormal activity.

Scotty ‘Bud’ Melvin calls Portage his home. He spent four years in the Air Force making sure no one swiped any airplanes or nukes and decided it wasn’t his dream job. He got out, went back to college at Western Michigan University, and found his dream job. He started yappin’ on the radio and playing rock. First at 95.9 WLKM in Three Rivers, then at 107.7 WRKR, and now as morning show host and Program Director at 92.5 WZUU, Kalamazoo’s Real Rock Station. He’s been ‘Kalamazoo’s Voice of Reason’ on your radio for the past 22 years.
In his spare time he plays hoops and volleyball with his daughter Sammy, fishes a local bass tournament trail, sifts through his sports memorabilia collection, and does whatever his wife Kim tells him to do. He also loves all things ‘paranormal’.
In 2009 he hooked up with SMP and tries to be involved with as many investigations as possible. He also loves to brainstorm with the Big Dog about future plans for SMP. His promotional and planning mind never stops. Scotty Bud is still waiting for his WOW moment during an investigation, but hopes it’s coming soon. He’s also hoping to win the lottery so he can buy a thermal imaging camera. He also loves talking in the third-person.

I was born and raised in West Michigan. I have always been interested in all things paranormal. I remember as a kid trying to channel people in my history book. It didn't work, so I left things alone for awhile. I had one experience as a teen that sent me running to my mommy. Something came into my room and held me down in bed and the flew away, knocking down my horse collection in the process. I started getting more interested and started visiting cemeteries in 2002. I am an open-minded skeptic. I have worked in factories for many years, but the economy ate up my job. I am eager to begin Chef School. One day, my goal is to buy and run a haunted restaurant.

I was a client for the SMP and they came into my old school house to let me know that I was not crazy hearing all the knocking and sounds of glass breaking. I never had a bad feeling living here but they just came here and made me feel better about what I was hearing. All good! After I met them, I fell in love with all of them and I do photography so I said I would love to help. It has been a great ride so far. I have always been interested in what is out there on the other side. I think we all are. It is the feeling of the unknown that makes us all wonder. Maybe we will never know but I sure am never going to quit looking until I get there!
